Born and raised in Fort portal, Kabarole District, He was introduced to the game of golf in 2002 by his elder brother who he used to caddy for as pay back for my School tuition.
In 2004, Ronald played in his first two day tournament at handicap 12 and shot scores 82, 78.
Ronald played amateur golf until 2019 when he turned professional.
A devout, hard working and champion golfer who currently plays his trade on the Safari Tour , the only Kenyan currently participating on the Sunshine Tour in South and the only East African playing currently on the CHALLENGE & DP WORLD in Europe.
Has been Kenya’s leading junior golfer and leading amateur golfer until APRIL 2023. An astute,
quiet and highly intelligent individual, Njoroge has been part of the game from his early years.
